I HIGHLY recommend Erin Foster for kitchen renovations. She was recommended by my friend who used her for 2 high-end new builds in Glen Echo, but she does work in any budget and will do everything to make sure you get the most for yours. She is a kitchen designer and did an unbelievable job on our kitchen (our budget was much smaller than my friend’s). During our renovation, she worked with our builder so that everything fit perfectly in our new space and moved things around in the original design to make the kitchen “flow” better. She helped us pick out cabinets and got them cheaper than the quote I got from a local store. I could not be happier with her work and she is a joy to work with. She listens to what you want/need, is super organized, very experienced and saved us from a potential miscalculation disaster in the original plans by our architect (long story, involved a pipe chase). She also designed our master bath. She recently started her own company after 10+ years working for others and in now taking new clients.
